Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
- 2 (14 oz) cans of black beans
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- ¾ cup finely chopped bell pepper (approximately half a bell pepper)
- 1 cup finely chopped onion (approximately 1 onion)
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ cup ground Harvest Snaps Crunchions Kick’N BBQ
- ½ cup feta cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp BBQ sauce
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Drain black beans and rinse with water. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the black beans on the baking sheet. Lightly pat the beans dry with a paper towel. Bake beans for 15 minutes and then set aside.
While beans are baking, heat olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Sauté bell pepper, onion, and garlic until onions are translucent. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and gently squeeze with a paper towel to get rid of excess moisture.
In a food processor, pulse the Harvest Snaps Crunchions Kick’N BBQ until you have ½ cup of ground Harvest Snaps flour. Add the sautéed peppers, onions, and garlic to the food processor. Then add the remaining ingredients and pulse everything together.
Finally, add the black beans to the mixture and pulse or mash, leaving some larger chunks of beans.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Form the patties and set them on the parchment paper. Bake for 12 minutes. Flip the patties and cook for an additional 12 minutes.
Serve Harvest Snaps Kick’N BBQ Black Bean patties on buns with lettuce, BBQ sauce & coleslaw.
Harvest Snaps Jackfruit Vegan Tacos
Jackfruit is a tropical fruit found in Africa, Asia, and South America. The stringy flesh perfectly imitates meats like pulled pork, making it a popular vegan substitute.
And when you look beyond texture to the nutrition facts, it isn’t hard to see why.
Like many fruits, jackfruit is high in fiber and low in fat. But it also contains protein, vitamin C, vitamins B2, B3, B6, and B9, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus.
These Harvest Snaps Jackfruit Vegan Tacos are a creative take on a traditional Super Bowl snack staple. These handheld bundles deliver mouthwatering joy. Using chili, cumin and Harvest Snaps Snack Crisps Tomato Basil, the flavor will totally blitz your tastebuds.
